Sweden: Malmö, Lund & Stockholm

After Copenhagen, my journey continued into Sweden.
Three places, three very different impressions: Malmö, Lund, and Stockholm.
And that’s what I loved about this part of the trip. Each city had its own personality.
Malmö
My first stop in Sweden was Malmö.
After the energy of Copenhagen, Malmö felt relaxed and easygoing. I enjoyed simply walking around the city, discovering its streets, architecture, cafés, and parks.
It was the perfect place to slow down after Copenhagen and begin getting to know Sweden.
And, of course, being so close to Denmark made the transition especially easy. One moment I was in Copenhagen, and soon I was crossing the Øresund and arriving in Sweden.
⛪ Lund
From Malmö, I took a day trip to Lund.
Lund felt completely different again.
It is an old university city, full of history, beautiful buildings, narrow streets, and a quieter atmosphere.

I loved wandering without a strict plan, taking in the architecture and enjoying the feeling of being somewhere with centuries of history around me.
Sometimes a day trip like this is exactly what I want when traveling: a change of scenery without packing another suitcase.
🏙️ Stockholm
And then came Stockholm.
After Malmö and Lund, Stockholm felt bigger, more dramatic, and more energetic.
The city is spread across islands, surrounded by water, with beautiful historic neighborhoods, elegant buildings, and that unmistakable Scandinavian design.
One of my favorite experiences was visiting ABBA The Museum.
It was fun, unexpected, and very Swedish in its own way. 🇸🇪🎶
But what I enjoyed most about Stockholm was simply being in the city—walking through its neighborhoods, looking at the water, discovering little corners, and letting the city unfold at its own pace.
Three Swedish cities, three different moods
Malmö was relaxed.
Lund was historic and charming.
Stockholm was vibrant and unforgettable.
Together, they gave me a wonderful introduction to Sweden.
And now, as my Scandinavian adventure begins to wind down, I’m realizing that the best part of traveling isn't necessarily seeing the most famous places.
It's the feeling of being somewhere new.
The walks.
The cafés.
The conversations.
The unexpected discoveries.
And those little moments when you stop and think:

«Как же хорошо, что я здесь».
Sweden, thank you.
